I'm here to celebrate NZ's amazing birdlife and the world's smallest penguin, the korora, is one of my personal favourites! Whether as a gift for a NZ bound traveler or as a adorable decoration for your home this little bird sure won't disappoint!
This is a good pattern for beginners with knowledge of basic stitches and colour changing. This pattern is written using Standard US crochet terms but can be easily converted to UK terms.
Materials needed:
- 3.5mm crochet hook.
- DK/Worsted cotton yarn, blue, grey and white
- 7.5mm - 8mm safety eyes.
- Stuffing
Finished bird is about 8cm tall.
